On September 8, the RA NA Council sitting presided over the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Ara Babloyan was held.

By the proposal of the RA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, an amendment was made in the Appendix 5 of the decision on Approving the Members of the National Assembly Delegations in the International Parliamentary Organizations: by the voting of the RA NA Council the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan was elected Head of the RA NA Delegation to the CSTO PA.

By the decision of the RA NA Council addenda were made to a number of appendices on Approving the Members of the National Assembly Friendship Groups adopted on July 11, 2017.

The RA NA Council approved the draft laws of the agendas of the second session of the sixth convocation of the RA National Assembly and the regular sittings to be convened on September 11 of the same session. The succession of the debate of the agenda items of the regular sittings to be held on September 11 of the second session of the RA NA sixth convocation and the duration of the debate of a number of issues were also set out by the RA NA Council.
